Oh my god I am crying.

College: Year One.
I cannot honestly say that I have made leaps and bounds of progress in my faith or in my understanding of theology here at Lancaster Bible College. I have been challenged tremendously. My walk has seen bumps. The process of living in ‘Christian community’ has been eye-opening, to say the least. Yet I know that there is one thing about my faith, about my journey, about my beliefs that has been impacted here.
That is Grace. God’s infinite grace. Not to say it’s an ultimate gift for all humanity- but it is something that we have free access to if we are true to our faith and relationship with Him. That Grace is abounding. It’s complicated and simple. We cannot understand how it works, but we know that we have it if we believe in Him. Amazing. God is awesome. He has done such great works in my life. Works that have taken me across the planet and have taught me lessons so very dear to my heart.
Failures are not the end; merely opportunities to try again.
I’d rather be early one thousand times than late once.
Fall Six Times, Stand Up Seven.
Give of love freely, but desperately guard your heart.
Fifteen minutes of time is worth more than thousands of tangible gifts.
Love is worth it- if you disagree, you don’t understand it.
Being true to oneself is quintessential to living healthily.
Patience is a valuable currency; keep a good store in the bank.
These things, I have learned through God’s grace. I cannot value Him any greater for His immeasurable love. I have done so much to earn damnation. I was born- that is sufficient means with which to destroy me. I am completely deprived of goodness in my true nature- yet in Him, I can find joy. I can be a light. I try to spread Him through my smile.
Support your brothers and sisters. This life is a hard one. But it’s worth it.
I’m sure I would have a lot more followers if…
I liked bands like Attack! Attack!, Asking Alexandria, Of Mice & Men and A Day to Remember.
I wore 70’s hipster dresses.
Had my ears stretched to 1 inch, with snake bites and my hair teased 3 feet away from my head.
and used instagram.
But sadly…I don’t do any of those things. Thus,
forever alone.

Row row row your boat, gently ‘round the pit
HAHAHA what a dude.
